Does this sound familiar?

Does your child hold back when it matters most?

Most children are not short of ideas. They are short of the structure, the confidence, and the words to express those ideas in a way that lands.
Whether it is oral exams, class presentations, or everyday conversations, getting it out clearly is where it breaks down.

They have more to say than they can express.

They know what they think. Getting it out clearly, calmly, and with confidence is where the gap appears. That gap is exactly what SuperMinds is designed to close.

The right environment changes everything.

Shy or confident, quiet or chatty, every child speaks differently in the right setting. SuperMinds gives children the structure and the space to express what they already think and feel, clearly and in their own voice.

Your child is exactly who we are here for.

SuperMinds public speaking classes in Singapore are built for children like yours. Children who have plenty to say, and simply need the right guidance to say it with clarity and confidence.

What changes when a child finds their voice

Three things change when a child finds their voice

A child who speaks well is a child who listens well. These three things change first.

Young man in a suit speaks at a desk with microphone and papers in a classroom setting.

Confidence

The quiet, steady certainty that what they have to say matters, and that they have the right to say it. Confidence that follows them into every room they will ever walk into.

Communication

They learn to take what lives inside, a thought, a feeling, a point of view, and express it clearly to whoever is in front of them. Public speaking is where this is practised. Communication is the outcome that lasts.

Character

They speak with honesty, listen with genuine curiosity, and hold themselves to a standard. Not because they are told to. Because they have learned to value the quality of their connections with others.

What a child learns at SuperMinds stays with them for life.

What makes SuperMinds different is where we start

It is a skill that compounds over time, growing stronger with every conversation, every relationship, and every moment they choose to speak up rather than hold back. The earlier it starts, the longer it builds.

We start with what your child already has.

Most enrichment programmes begin by identifying what is missing. SuperMinds begins from the opposite position. Every child already has a voice, a perspective, and something worth saying. Our job is to draw that out, not replace it with a formula.

Every child deserves to be heard, not just present.

Every SuperMinds class is kept deliberately small because we believe that being in the room is not enough. A child who sits through a class without speaking has not practised anything. Here, every child speaks in every session, is heard by the group, and receives real coaching on what they said and how they said it. That is what actually builds the skill.

Five happy children smiling with arms raised, one wearing a backpack and standing in front.

Not just on stage. In every room they enter.

SuperMinds teaches children to sound like themselves, with clarity and structure. The result is a child who communicates naturally and confidently in every situation, not just when there is an audience watching.

Public speaking happens more than you realise.

Answering a question in class, sharing an idea in a group project, presenting to a teacher, introducing themselves to someone new, these are not performances. They are the moments that shape how others see your child, and how your child sees themselves. We teach children to handle all of it, clearly, confidently, and without freezing.

The person behind every programme

Iwan Yang has spent years helping children and adults find their voice, in Singapore and across Asia. He knows that communication is not a talent you are born with. It is a skill you develop, one conversation at a time, with the right guidance and the right environment.

Every SuperMinds programme reflects his approach. Structured enough to give children a foundation. Personal enough to meet every child where they are, and draw out the voice they already have.

A Toastmasters Champion and ICF Certified Coach who has trained over 3,000 students across Singapore and Asia, from children to executives.

A father of two boys himself. He understands what children actually need, not pressure, not scripts, but the confidence to speak up in their own way.

"Coach Iwan has been fantastic with both my kids, Caden and Reagan. They genuinely enjoy the lessons and always look forward to class. His teaching style is engaging, encouraging, and helps build both confidence and skills. We have seen positive growth in them over time. My older child enjoyed it so much that he will be coming back for the second part later this year. Highly recommended!"

Common Questions About SuperMinds Public Speaking Classes

Everything you need to know before your child's first class.

Why SuperMinds?

Because we start with what your child already has. Every child already has a voice, a perspective, and something genuinely worth saying. SuperMinds exists to draw that out, with the right structure, the right environment, and the right guidance — so your child can express who they truly are, clearly and confidently, in every situation that matters.

Is SuperMinds suitable for shy or introverted children?

Yes. Shy and introverted children are often the ones who benefit most from SuperMinds public speaking classes in Singapore. Classes are kept deliberately small so there is no pressure to perform in front of a large group. Every child speaks in every session, but in a structured, safe, and encouraging environment. Many parents tell us their child came home after the very first session noticeably more willing to speak up — at school, and at home. Some of our most confident graduates started as children who would barely whisper in a group.

My child is confident. Would SuperMinds still be useful?

Absolutely. Confidence without clarity is not enough, and SuperMinds communication classes in Singapore teach children both.

Confident children often speak loudly without always being understood. SuperMinds teaches children to structure their thoughts, express themselves precisely, and connect genuinely with whoever they are speaking to. Many of our most engaged students are children who were already confident but discovered there was a significant difference between speaking and truly communicating.

How much do the SuperMinds programmes cost?

SuperMinds offers programmes at different price points depending on the programme type and term length.

Public Speaking for Children and Public Speaking for Teens: A trial class costs S$59.50 per child. Term fees vary depending on the number of sessions that term, either 8 or 10 weekly sessions of 1.5 hours each, determined by the Singapore school calendar and public holidays. What happens at a trial class?

Your child joins a real SuperMinds class in Singapore, not a preview, not a sales session, and not a watered-down introduction. They experience the actual programme, work with the trainer, meet other children, and get a genuine feel for what SuperMinds is and how it works.

After the session, you receive a video recording of your child speaking during the class, and a written evaluation from a SuperMinds coach covering your child's strengths, areas for growth, and specific recommendations.

The trial class costs S$59.50. It is a real session with real value, regardless of whether you go on to enrol for a full term. Most parents tell us the trial class answered every question they had better than anything they could have read on a website.

How long is the programme and when will I see results?

Each SuperMinds term in Singapore runs 8 to 10 weekly sessions of 1.5 hours each, depending on the school calendar. But a term is just the beginning.Communication is not a skill you master in one course.

Like learning a musical instrument or developing a sport, it takes time, consistent weekly practice, and the right guidance to hone. Results do not happen overnight, and any programme that promises otherwise is not being honest with you.

What you will notice first is not a transformed child overnight. It is smaller things. A child who is a little more willing to try. Who comes home and explains their day differently. Who raises their hand when they would not have before.

Over time, across terms and across years, those small shifts compound into something significant. Our goal is not simply to complete a course with your child. It is to be part of their growth for as long as they will have us.

What age groups does SuperMinds serve?

We also offer One-to-One Private Coaching for children and teens of all ages who need more focused, personalised attention. For younger children aged 7 to 8, a trial class is available to assess suitability before enrolment.
